let’s take a look at the games we offer and what the rules are for each game.
Poker is the name generally used for a collection of games where people
place bets based on the combination cards they have in hand.
The player with the best hand wins. Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha are two of
the more popular forms of poker that we offer at the Shark Shack Club.
Texas Holdem was first invented in Texas, spreading like wildfire throughout the state
before being introduced in Las Vegas in 1967 by a group of Texan gamblers.
All other variations of the game are built on the basic format which goes as follows:
• All players get two cards in the hole that they can see.
• Everyone places bets when they’re handed out their cards—players can also fold in the first round.
• Once all the bets are placed, the dealer reveals three more cards that players bet on based on how strong they feel their hands are.
• After this second round of bets, the dealer reveals one card, and players bet for the third time.
• After the third round of bets, the dealer reveals the final fifth card, and a last series of bets is placed.
• Then all the players show their cards and the one with the best hand wins the pot.
You have the option of folding out of the game at each round of bets based on whether you think you’ll win or lose.
the only difference being that players get four cards in the hole instead of two. At each point of betting you have to match the bets placed by the highest bidder or you have to fold. Once you fold, you can’t win any money in the round you opted out of.
